Why Kats and Dragons?
Many people have asked me why I named this company Kats and Dragons. What does the name symbolize? Are you a Kat or a Dragon? In mythological times dragons symbolized royalty, strength, and power… while also being tied to chaos, magic, and danger. In current times our feline furry friends have been tied to elegance, protection, and serenity… while also being tied to mayhem, magic, and mischief. I have created this world of Kats and Dragons to celebrate kats and their dragon spirit animals. Here we celebrate our differences and highlight the things that make us unique… one world with endless possibilities.
Meet the Owner and Creator
Hi! I'm Kiara!
I am an artist. I've always been passionate about drawing and painting. Early in life, I was diagnosed with auditory processing disorder (APD) and was able to express myself through my art. Especially in school when dealing with times of frustration, it allowed me to have the ability to focus and relax…You could say it is my own form of meditation. Now, I am a college graduate with honors and I am expanding my passion for art through my fashion line . One day, I took a paintbrush to a pair of jeans, creating my first piece of customized clothing and the rest is history. With that being said, I hope you love the products as much as I do!
